The Fabric Clubs (and How They Work Together)
I get this question a lot:
“How are the Fabulous Clubs different… and do they go together?”
Short answer: yes.
Everything is designed to coordinate, so you can mix pieces from different clubs and it still works. A panel from one, cotton from another, a base from a third. It all comes together without a lot of second guessing.
That’s honestly one of my favorite parts. You don’t have to spend time figuring out what matches or what to make. The fabrics are already curated, and there’s always a little built-in direction if you want it.
The clubs now ship every other month, which has been such a nice shift. It gives you time to actually use what you get, join the sew-alongs, and be part of the community without feeling behind.
What You’ll Find in Each Club
Tote-Ally Fabulous Club - If you like a quick, satisfying project, this one is for you.
Each shipment includes:
- Two coordinating 21” x 40” cuts of waterproof canvas
- Two 13” x 18” feature panels
- Two coordinating tags from The Heartwood and Hide Co.
- A featured designer with project ideas
- Your choice of poly or cotton waterproof canvas
- Access to a private member event
Everything is designed to work together right away. It’s simple, low prep, and great for totes, pouches, and everyday projects.
Freakin’ Fabulous Fabric Club - This one is for the cotton lovers.
Each shipment includes:
- Five extra-wide cotton woven fat quarters (approximately 18” x 21”) in a coordinated theme
- Two coordinating tags from The Heartwood and Hide Co.
- A featured designer with project ideas
- Access to a private member event
It’s great for smaller projects, gifts, or trying something new without needing a full plan. You can just pull from the stack and start sewing.
SEW Fabulous Club - This is the one for bagmakers who like a little more variety.
Each shipment includes:
- One ½ yard cut of a surprise fabric base
- One ½ yard cut of printed poly waterproof canvas
- One full yard cut of solid waterproof canvas
- One 12” roll of printed vinyl
- One 18” coordinating roll of vinyl or cork
- Two coordinating tags from The Heartwood and Hide Co.
- A featured designer with project ideas
- Access to a private member event
There’s enough here to make a few pieces that all go together, which makes it really fun if you like creating sets or trying different combinations.
Why It Works
A big goal with the clubs is to take some of the decision-making off your plate.
The colors already work together. The materials make sense. And there’s always some direction if you want it.
You still get to be creative, but you’re not starting from scratch every time.
